Description
Choosing a business structure is an art, not a science.
It’s the art of navigating the competing factors that ought to be considered and overlaying the often nuanced and intricate business and personal circumstances of the client. This is particularly relevant in the current circumstances, for example, with the Commissioner’s increased spotlight on trust arrangements in Section 100A.
This two-part session will comprehensively cover the following:
Structuring Part 1
1 March 2023
- Entity choices – the necessary background to companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders
- The objectives and considerations – what are the factors that should be considered when choosing a business structure
Structuring Part 2
8 March 2023
- Analysis of business structures in light of the objectives/considerations
- Case study
Recorded on Part 1– 1 March 2023, Part 2– 8 March 2023.
