Turning Compliance into Opportunity

In an evolving financial landscape, accountants in practice can no longer afford to shy away from offering Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) services to their clientele. With the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) setting its sights on a $1 billion revenue shortfall gap, the spotlight is firmly placed on Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and their compliance with FBT obligations. This webinar aims to dissect the ‘Why, What, and How’ of integrating FBT services into accounting practices to not only manage client risks but also to generate a new revenue stream.

Why FBT?

  • Recognise the urgency for accounting firms to incorporate FBT services, given the ATO’s emphasis on auditing SMEs.
  • Explore the proactive advisory and compliance revenue opportunities that come with offering FBT services.

What Services to Offer?

  • Gain insights into building FBT awareness and education among employer and individual clients.
  • Learn about a comprehensive array of FBT services ranging from registration, compliance and advisory, to specialised areas such as motor vehicles, relocations, and salary packaging.

How to Implement?

  • Understand why accountants are ideally situated to offer FBT services to their existing and potential clients.
  • Discover the key triggers for both compliance and opportunities based on a thorough understanding of your client base.
  • Learn how to keep abreast of FBT-related developments affecting your clients, thereby staying ahead of the curve.

Who Should Attend?
