In this webinar, R&D expert Alan Garcia will provide an overview of the new R&D rates and procedures as applicable from 1 July 2021. This will be followed by a deep-dive into the new R&D portal, online lodgement with AusIndustry, and key differences between the previous Smartform and the new technical requirements.
These include new requirements regarding core and supporting activities and additional declarations and administrative information, such as description of new knowledge intended to be produced specifically in relation to core activities (as opposed to the overall project), and explanation as to how specific core activity outcomes could not have been known in advance.
