With 30 June fast approaching, and in response to concerns raised by members, TSA’s Frank Drenth and Phillip London will present a webinar on Wednesday 15 June 2022 to help members weigh up the issues confronting their clients in relation to 2021-22 trust distributions, particularly distributions to adult beneficiaries. Frank is a highly experienced tax practitioner who has taken a close interest in recent developments around section 100A, including the Guardian decision that was handed down last December, the release of draft guidance material by the ATO in February and various statements made by both the government and the ATO since that time. Phillip London is the Head of Tax at Tax and Super Australia. Phil’s background includes thirteen years in the ATO as well as tax advisory roles at KPMG, EY and most recently Crowe Australia.
