Dr Heidi Ivory is a commercially focused executive with a diverse background spanning accounting, global advertising, telecommunications and membership strategy. Beginning her career as an accountant with EY, Heidi went on to work with Saatchi before moving into the digital telecommunications sector, where she led membership-growth strategy at Vodafone.

Now, as CEO of the IFPA, Heidi is proud to bring this blend of strategic, commercial and member-focused experience to the association. Since joining five months ago, she has focused on driving meaningful change, strengthening member value and shaping a clear, forward-looking strategy for the IFPA’s continued growth.

Peter Wood heads up partnerships for the IFPA.

A former creative and account director in advertising agencies, he moved into funds management in the 2000’s where he was responsible for numerous property, multi funds and hedge funds.

Peter is able to design the right campaign to assist the IFPA partners to obtain the right outcome when looking to market to our large financial database.

Stuart is the Head of Technical Services at the Institute of Financial Professionals Australia (IFPA). He has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and is a regular presenter and author of technical literature covering superannuation, SMSFs, retirement planning, taxation, estate planning, insurance, social security, and aged care. Prior to joining IFPA he worked at Insignia Financial and Colonial First State providing technical support to advisers.

His qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics a Bachelor of Arts and an Advanced Diploma of Financial services. He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) member of the Financial Advice Association Australia and a SMSF Specialist Adviser (SSA) with the SMSF Association.

Cindy West is the Head of Membership at the Institute of Financial Professionals, where she has worked for approximately four years. She joined the organisation as a Senior Membership Services Officer and has since progressed into her current leadership role, reflecting her dedication to delivering a high standard of member service.

With a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Cindy brings a strong understanding of the financial profession to her work. While she has not practised directly in the accounting industry, she values the opportunity to engage with the Institute’s members and support their professional journeys. Cindy takes pride in providing prompt, reliable assistance and fostering positive relationships with members through responsive, member-focused service.
